ah perfect picture & post!:)
Over the weekend I had the opportunity to go to a Father’s Day church service at Qualcomm Stadium, where Tim Tebow was a special guest. For a guy who is just four years my senior, he is incredibly mature and I learned so much from the simple yet powerful things that he said. Just to make note…
Yesterday we arrived to the stadium at about 8am to see Tim Tebow at church!!! So awesome:)
It was such an amazing experience from the amazing remix playing on the screen before service started, to the worship, to Tim’s message and just all team Tebow being there…it was amazing:) Although we were under the hot beating sun for about 3 hours, it was totally worth it. Plus we got wristbands, a poster and John 3:16 under eye things (which we found out the story behind)!:)
He is such an inspiring young man, that one can’t help but to aspire to be just like him. Oh & might I add he is even more gorgeous in person…not just in looks but his personality, his actions, words, and he is hilarious!:D just everything about him makes you go “wow I want to be like him” in the sense of his display as a Christian. He shared some awesome quotes and such inspiring pieces of advice that I absolutely love and he was pretty much all smiles and laughing the whole time, which was wonderful! He touched on the topic of being a role model saying something along the lines of “Our society has many role models, but not all of them are good, and that’s very frustrating. I’m interested to see how our generation turns out.” and proceeded to share how he wants to be a good role model that young boys can look up to, and he most definitely is.
I’ll do my best to post more of the quotes up later on during the week and he also shared some amazing & funny & heartfelt stories of his life, which turned out to also be great inspiration. Just this man is an inspiration himself.
I have to say though the worship during the service is probably one of the most funniest worships I have ever experienced, Tim was just sitting on stage most of the time, then stood there in the back with his hands in his pockets being the cool Tim Tebow he is, while the singers are singing their heart out, the pastor was standing next to Tim being completely clueless of what is going, and then there are the guys in front of us just standing there, while the guys behind us are criticizing pretty much Tim’s every word…it might not seem funny, some of it really isn’t suppose to be, but it was funny to me in that moment…hahaha:)
so yeah, the whole experience is pretty much indescribable other than saying it was definitely inspiring, Thank you God for bringing such an incredible man and role model in faith to this world.
